Re: questions - bleaching before laser treatment

the hair needs to be dark to transmit the laser better to the roots. I assume you know this as you understand the roots can't be bleached. :-)

it's possible that dying the hair back to dark would work... they have found that dying light hair on women with light hair makes the laser somewhat more effective... but not as effective as laser used on hair that is dark to begin with.

if I were in your position, I would not want to do anything that might ruin the chances of laser being effective. is there any chance you could have the laser scheduled for a monday morning, and take off "sick" from work on friday... so Thursday maybe you'd be a little shadowy, and by Monday you'd be hairy enough for the laser to work really well? Of course, I don't know how you look after laser is done, so going to work late on Monday right afterwards could be as bad an idea as going in hairy... i don't know. But I don't think bleaching the hair is a good idea...

Let us know how it goes though whether you bleach or not!!!
