questions - bleaching before laser treatment

Hi, I'm new here. I've been following the threads for a while but this is my first post. I have been treated for PCO for the past eight months but have not been officially diagnosed as I don't have health insurance. My doctor has me on Spiro 200mg/day and Vaniqua, and I take 2 Chromium GTF per day and almost immediately after starting the chromium I had my first period in five years. I've been pretty regular since then.

The spiro and vaniqua have helped the facial hirsutism a lot, but not enough. So I had an initial consultation with a dermatologist yesterday and scheduled my first appointment this Thursday. Normally I shave my face and the area around the areola, but I have to have some growth for her to take the pictures for my file. My question is, do I have to stop bleaching the facial hair for the laser to work? Can I just bleach it until the day of the appointment, then dye it back to it's normal black before the appointment? If so, what should I use to dye it? When you bleach the hair, does it bleach the roots too? I understand that this would make the laser inaffective if that is the case.

Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated. I just don't think I could face going to work every day with a bunch of really obvious black stubble.
