read all the tips, still need helpFrom: soc (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 30 Oct 2001 06:03:14 -0600 (CST)
i've been checking the threads on getting rid of facial hair, but i still need help! for years i plucked, but as i got older the hairs (especially on my chin) got progressively coarser and blacker, and left really ugly black spots where the hairs were about to grow in. so i have now resorted to waxing, but haven't found a type that works. the hairs are so thick they don't grab. i am trying sugaring now, but have found that, as with all waxing, you have to let the hair grow back first. to me, this kind of defeats the purpose, because that's exactly what i am trying to avoid - hair. so now i use a combo of waxing/sugaring, and while it grows back, i bleach with Jolen to conceal a bit. but it get irritated, first of all, and is a real pain in the rear. at the moment, electrolysis and laser aren't options, and i can't mail order anything and have limited options with what i can buy (living in a bit of a remote place right now). any ideas? hairy and frustrated, s.
