I have never heard of this before... the only context in which I have heard the term incompetant cervix used is with regard to miscarriage... rather than being too tight, the cervix much be stiched shut for the duration of the preg. to prevent miscarriage. i suppose it could go either way... too tightly closed, to easily opened... I have no idea if it will happen again. I hope it doesn't, that must be a very weird predicament to be in!!!
