Nikki, Could you possibly be pregnant? I have spotted like that at times, but once time I was pregnant. I did infertility with both my children (injectable meds). We were on a trip and I felt bad and crampy. I went to the ladies room and the brown spotting, sorta mucous was only there when I was wiping. This happened on a Friday. I was so depressed because I thought that I had not conceived again. I called in sick to work for two days and continued with the spotting off and on for a day or so. I had a pregnancy test the following week and was positive. Just a thought. I have also had this type of spotting without a pregnancy, but didn't have as much cramping type pains. Angie
