I have been on glucophage 1500 mg/day for over 2 years and everything has gotten better except for hairloss. I still have excess hair elsewhere but I don't care as much. I just want to stop losing the hair on my head! I have a wonky shaped forehead due to a receding hairline and it's becoming pretty obvious. What are my options? Can I take Spiro with Met? Is it worth the constant bleeding? I don't need to worry about birth control right now so do I have to take the pill with spiro? Would just taking the pill help? What else would help with the least amount of side effects? Any advice would be appreciated.
