I work in medical and complementary medicine research in the UK and also suffer PCOS and hyperplasia. I have only recently been diagnosed but have had intermittent bleeding, weight gain & excess body hair and no periods for over a year. I have been suffering from very bad pelvic pain for the last year too. Anyway, I have refused to take the pill as I am not entirely sure that helps matters (I also have an underactive thyroid and blood pressure so I am pretty sure thats not helped by the pill). I have looked into the alternatives and have started taking AGNUS CASTUS herbal pills. There are some clinical trials to suggest it is helpful for women with a range of fertility and menstral difficulties including PCOS and hyperplasia. The trials are not the best quality in the world but I keep an open mind. I cannot report any miracles since I started taking the remedy but I have reduced my pelvic pain a lot, lost a little weight, felt less depressed and have had absolutely no abnormal bleeding in 30 days. It's cheap to buy and easy to take...
