Hi Iain, firstly I am glad you got things sorted out, And yes I am from the
UK and know how frustrating the NHS can be, Please let her know that there
are people who know about these things that will be able to prescribe the
right stuff, I am on 1500 mg of Metfromin and they prescribed it before my
insulin resistance was checked it is safe to use even if you dont have
it....
please get her to email me with any question unfortunatly I cant give you my
docs name or hospital on the forum but let me know where you guys are and
your private email address I might be able to give you the details if you
are close to the same areas.... any way good luck and feel free to ask
anything...
