Just me chiming in, as always! We HAVE insurance, it's actually pretty good insurance as far as what it covers and everything (which is why we picked it) and I still pay approximately $100/month in just copays and prescriptions. The labwork is horrendous, just this week we received two bills for $150 and $75, and that's what the insurance DOESN'T pay.

It's totally worth it though!! I would rather live on ramen noodles (or okay, the low carb version of cheap food) for weeks than go without medical care, it's so crucial at this stage of my disease.
