My doctor says its due to the hyperadrenalism. I have tons of
aldosterone even while on an aldosterone lowering medication. I
remember him being freaked out by the test results last year. I do not
sweat. I havent since I had my weight gain and took ill. When I was
hypothyroid it could be 100 degrees outside and I wouldnt have a drop of
sweat on me. When I stopped sweating it was a sign of illness. Now I
do sweat VERY RARELY. and thats just a slight sheen on my forehead.
My inability to sweat actually has affected my ability to exercise quite
badly and my tolerance of hot temperatures. I actually have to be in
air condition if it is over 85 degrees or I could pass out. Thank
goodness I live in a northern state.
