Support groups for Partners of PCOS women?

Hi all,

Sorry to intrude on what is clearly a forum for females, but I have been searching and searching and haven't found what I am looking for.<P>

To explain, my fiancée suffers from PCOS. She was lucky enough to be diagnosed very young (age 15), and she was told at her last COnsultant's appointment a few years ago to regulate herself using the Pill and to come back when she wanted children.

Now although I have found out quite a lot about PCOS and am learning all the time, we are going through a very rough patch, and I wanted to find an e-group to talk to others about what is usual and what is not in PCOS.

My fiancée says she feels very much as though she is living under a little black cloud at the moment. She is very changeable and irritable, and very indecisive. She says she has only felt this way for a month though and that she's never had the feeling this strong before...

So I'm trying to find out if it is just a patch we are going through or if there could be some clinical basis for her general depression and irritability. SHe won't see her GP about it as she asys her GP won't have any advice anyway.

So - can anyone give me some advice about groups where partners are welcome? or general advice about the PMT aspect of PCOS?

Thanks

Iain
