I know besides a low fat diet, exercise plays a key in reducing the numbers. My mom has excessively high triglycerides and with the low fat diet, along with exercise, and lipid meds, she has brought her numbers down to more reasonable levels. You might want to check with your dr about it. Hope this helps a bit! Byee
