You *must* go to a doctor and be tested, both to diagnose PCOS and to rule out other causes for the problem, such as adrenal hyperplasia, thyroid problems, Cushing's disease, tumors, diabetes, etc. Also, all women should have an annual pelvic exam with a pap smear to detect early signs of cervical cancer and other problems. Your extreme shyness, and the fact that you have been on Prozac for depression, makes me think that you may have something I have -- interpersonal sensitivity, which is basically when you're painfully shy to the point where you think everyone around you doesn't like you or is laughing at you. You need to get that treated, as well. Prozac has worked well for me, but there are lots of other medications out there. You have to manage your own health, and ask doctors to help you. You only get one body!
