I was diagnosed with PCOS about five months ago. I've been on Ortho-Cyclen and have been happy with this pill so far. My hair stopped falling out like it was and I had begun to feel better than I had. However, some of the symptoms have not gone away, even though I now get a regular period and ovulate. Since I had first gotten sick, I had joint and muscle pain. I still have joint pain and realized it was not as often as it was before I began the pill until now. I am having joint pain once more again. As it was before, it's in my wrists and ankles. But now, it is also in my hands, fingers. They hurt and stiffen up. My neck and shoulders are often sore. I have a pain in my hip, that hasn't went away for over 3 weeks now. And.....I am beginning to "twitch" at times. Mostly at night when I lay down, my muscles just seem to move when they chose to. Also, I have never had consistant headaches in my life, however, now I have what seem to be tention/sinus headaches. Horrible in the bridge of my nose and cheeks. Also, the other big problem that I am experiencing, is this awful pain when I have to go to the bathroom. I've heard it refered to as "irratable", but this is far worse than "irratable" at times. This is a horrible pain. I have broken out into sweat and cried just trying to have a bowl movement. It is very bad cramping, like the sort I remember from periods of my past, before I knew I had PCOS! But, now these episodes are becoming more and more frequent.
