No, you aren't obese! Not sure why your Dr. would think so.

At my heaviest I was 170 at 5'9 3/4". I was at the top of the 'healthy' weight range recommended but I wasn't overweight. I did feel heavy at that weight but I was accustomed to being underweight so it was very different for me. My Dr. did make notes about my weight and my 'mid section', but I brought them up and that's why.

If you feel good at the weight you're at, that's what counts. I am at 126 right now and this feels very much like my perfect weight. My sister is 5'10 and feels best at 160. It's different for everyone! Try not to let him get to you (hard I know!).
