Wow -- have you thought about switching from Paxil to another medication, or upping your dosage? I've been on Prozac (which recently became available in generic form) for seven years, and when my mom fell ill with dermatomyositis and died, I went up from 40 mg to 60 mg, and it really helped. Also, have you mentioned this to your doctor? Could the switch from met to Avandia triggered something? Is anxiety a possible side effect of Avandia, or could the Avandia be making the Paxil less effective? Just some ideas. Hope you find relief soon. It sucks to be anxious. Can be very debilitating.
