Randi,

there are actually several different sites that have information about good foods to eat. some are low-carb sites, others are like the glycemic index. generally speaking there is no ONE perfect plan for PCOSers, so you should pick a carb level and work around that. we can eat anything we want, it basically comes down to how much of it and what to eat it with to balance insulin production. here are some links that may help you =)

http://www.mendosa.com/gi.htm (Glycemic Index)

http://www.lowcarb.org/ (this is a link to more links on all kinds of stuff, including some good reading on PCOS and related issues and some links to low-carb info)

http://www.kathyland.com/lowcarb.shtml (this is also a link page, but some of the recipe links are great. there are also links to adkins page and other regimented plans)

http://www.camacdonald.com/lc/LowCarbohydrateCooking-Recipes.htm (some good low-carb recipes)

http://oak.cats.ohiou.edu/~cp391990/carb.html (a link page about PCOS and carbohydrates)

i am sure there are more links out there with information in addition to these.

hope this helps =)

love, paula
