Okay.....bleeding like a stuck pig...now what??

Well...it's been exactly one week since my biopsy, and yesterday I
started to bleed. I mean BLEED. It has been a year since my last
period and 1.5 years before that but....this is crazyness. I am wearing
a super tampon and two overnight pads and I am bled through within 1.5
hours. Yes, that is about how far apart the truck stops and rest areas
are!! I am so very tired, and pale. It's bad. Chad convinced me to go
the hospital today and the doctor said..." it's a period, it will be
over in a few days." Gotta love the doctors! Does this seem reasonable??
I just stopped taking met. one week ago. I dunno anything
anymore....but I do know the bathroom looks like I got shot in there.
