Maybe someone who knows more about this can help me answer, but from what I read here I believe you've got it backwards? I thought that progesterone only pills were one of the best things we could take, because we're usually so low on it and so estrogen dominant. I do know that the 10 days every couple months when I'm on Prometrium (progesterone) to induce a period are the only days I feel really human. My acne clears up, my mood swings even out, I have all of this energy. If you have PCOS, you have PCOS. It might be worth giving those sorts of bcp a try.
