Re: Menstrual Migraines and PCOSFrom: Allison (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 26 Sep 2001 08:48:57 -0500 (CDT)
Thanks so much for the advice. Im going to go to the naturopath as well as make an appointment with my Dr. and discuss the meds you are on. Right now I take Amerge which restricts the blood vessels in the head, but I have to take it as soon as I have a light headache and it makes me very drowsy - but it does reduce the pain. It is also very $$$ - 125 dollars (CDN) for 6 tablets. Thanks for your advice, I'd be willing to hear about other medicines that have helped people. You see, i am going to be getting married in May 2002 and I dont want to go off the BCP for a number of reasons. I have a wonderful, supportive MD, so she will be open to suggestions. THanks again. Allison
