Blood Test Results from Libby Freeland Con'tFrom: Libby (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 19 Sep 2001 14:02:18 -0500 (CDT)
Dr. Sam,(or any cyster with something to offer) One of my blood tests for my liver function, ALBUMIN came back as 3.75. According to the nurse - I have yet to discuss it with my Doctor, this is low. But, I looked it up and the information I read said anything over 3.5 is considered normal. I have chronic back pain, but have had kidney function tests which came back normal. I am told that low protein diets can cause back pain and low albumin. Also, diabetic have low albumin levels. So my question to you is, is 3.75 considered low, and is low albumin linked to PCOS in some way? Other bloodwork results below - Thanks for the information.
