I have been ttc for 3 1/2 yrs, and got my first +++++++ this morning. I am in shock, I can't stop looking at the hpt. I am afraid to believe it until I have a Beta done. I have been diagnosed with PCOS and IR. I have had 5 IUI's with no success. I started on Glucophage 1500 mgs in April. My insulin level at the time was 23.5, and after several months on the Glucophage, my insulin level never went down. I was then told to start Actos 15 mgs with the Glucophage. I was on this combination of meds for 2 months when I got a call from my Re on Aug. 22 saying my insulin level had dropped to 14.3. RE wanted me to start injections on cd 3 of next cycle, but looks like we won't have to try it. I didn't think we could get pg without an IUI or IVF. I am sorry this is so long, but I had to talk to someone. I have not told my DH yet, I am waiting to have Beta so that I know for sure.
