Hello... I just went through a similar problem. My period lasted for
over 2 months straight. I was given progesterone shots 3 times and put
on two types of BC pills and Gluc before it stoped. The previous time I
had this trouble it lasted for 4 months and I had to have a D&C to stop
the bleeding. My lining also appeared thick. My OBGYN said it was due
to inflamation. I had a biopsy that showed inflamation, but no other
problems. I now seem to be doing ok and have lost 30 lbs in 3 weeks on
Gluc.
I insisted on the biopsy and I'm glad I did. I was worried about the
chance endom cancer. I'm relieved to know that's not a problem.
Best of luck!
Take care!
