I am not sure about a possible connection between HCG and PCOS, but I can tell you that I have PCOS and tested positive with a urine test about 12 days after conception of my daughter. (We were monitoring ovulation, and my baby's birthdate confirms the conception date.) I still think a blood test is a great idea, but just wanted to throw my experience in.
