I would say definitely have the ultrasound done! It really bothered me that none of the doctors I went to did an ultrasound until I was having pain. If they had done an ultrasound to begin with then when I experienced problems they could have done a comparison of then and now (assuming you make sure they keep the pictures of the ultrasound on file or you take a copy with you). How do you know if the cysts are disappearing or increasing if you don't have a starting point?
