I think I'm pregnant, what can I expect???From: Jamie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 5 Sep 2001 20:19:56 -0500 (CDT)
I was diagnosed with PCOS over 2 years ago and took Provera for over a year. About 6 months ago I stopped taking it and started on a low carb diet and took supplements (Glucosamine and Chromium) I successfully got my period at least every 45 days up until about a month and a half ago. I had decided that I would go back to taking Provera, but as per my Dr's instruction I took a home pregnancy test. It was positive. In disbelief I ran to store and bought a differnt brand, it too was positive. I am going to make an appointment tomorrow to be sure but I wanted to know what to expect. Am I really pregnant? What types of precautions and measures do I need to take to try and carry to full term it I really am pregant. What obtacles lay in the path of people with PCOS that are pregant. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks, Jamie
