I'm a veggie, too, though I also occasionally eat chicken for the protein. The problem I've been having is that when I eat too much protein I actually feel more nauseated and dizzy, etc., then when I eat carbs. I've ended up on a diet of (relatively) low-carb cereal and 2% milk -- anything else makes me feel like throwing up for hours afterwards. Does anyone know how to make this stop? I'm on Glucophage (1000 mg) but haven't really lost any weight...
