Your doctor, who said to just lose weight, is wrong. Find a doctor who knows about PCOS. You have what would be termed primary ammenorrhea (sp?), which just means your period stopped before it started. It's not healthy to not have periods, especially if you are overweight. You are risking endometrial cancer, osteoperosis, heart disease, and diabetes.

Download the beginner's brochure from http://www.pcosupport.org and find a doctor who knows something about PCOS and similar disorders. Your health depends on it.
