I would also recommend having thyroid autoantibodies tested, for a lot of women with PCOS have autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's thyroiditis). Also, I'd recommend a three hour oral glucose tolerance test with a 100-gram glucose load. This can often give more information than just the fasting glucose/insulin test.
