I was also without a period for about 2 yrs and all the drs were in the dark as to what was going on with me - they tried all the hormone theropies and blood test to try to figure it out and they found that I was normal. I kept insisting that SOMETHING was not rught. They did find that my urerus was full of adheasions and did a reconstuctive surgery. I feel theat that was from all the time of not having a period. But what do I know!! Anyway last week I found out that I have had PCOS for along tine and they said that I had if since purberty. Go figure, but I will tell you the best part, they also told me in 1998 when I had the surgery to fix the adheasions - that I would NEVER have children again. I had a little girl May/2000 and our biggest surprise of all my son born Mar/2001. I am very blessed and thankful for them and they are a wonderful addition to ur family of 3 other children. So dont give up on it - and as faar as the Met! I know girl it sucks. If you would like to email me and keep in touch please do - we do have alot in common. It would be great to hear from ya and share our experience together and info too. My email is kim@billyerwin.com or anonymous@obgyn.net which ever if fine. Look foward to hearing from ya. Keep smiling:) Kim
