My PCOS symptoms didn't manifest till 6 years ago when I was 29.I was normal weight and didnt have hair on my face, tummy or chest then (or even before then!).Over the past 6 years I have put on close to 100lbs and started having the hair problems as well as M/C and lack of menses.I was Dx 2 years ago.For me seems my PCOS gets worse as I get older.Wondering of this is common? >>Bippette - hi there. I have just been diagnosed with PCOS and do not have the facial hair symptoms either. Neither am I overweight. While I feel very lucky, I am also finding it hard to get information as I do not fit the traditional profile. It sounds as though you are "self-diagnosing" at least a little - be careful. Definately check with your doctor and bring up your thoughts and concerns - they are worth checking out.
