Hi, I was just reading about progesterone creams last night and I don't recall it saying that it can cause false positives....but a word of caution that it gave was Don't stop using the cream until you are SURE that you are NOT pregnant (you can have a blood test done at your doctor's that is more accurate than the home tests) because a sudden drop in progesterone levels can cause a miscarriage. Just thought I would share what I had read...I'll check my book when I get home again and see if it says anything about false positives and I'll get back with you.
