Re: Raging Hormones!...HELP

Did anyone else notice this kind of thing starting only after they'd begun Metformin? I started taking Glucophage little bit ago and now, all of a sudden, I'm depressed, irritable (ESPECIALLY when commuting!), and anxious. I was none of these things before the Metformin, so it feels like it's coming out of left field!

Last night, I became so incensed at the rudeness of another driver that we ended up screaming at each other before zooming off. I've NEVER even dreamed that I would be capable of that! And am now a little scared to drive (I live in a city that has some truly scary -- and truly RUDE -- drivers) in case something like that happens again. Then I went home and fell asleep, then I ate something like six bowls of cereal, then I lay awake feeling anxious and depressed about everything that's going on in my life, including the PCOS and the fact that I was just dumped by the first guy I'd been interested in in about a year and a half...Arg! What's going on with me!?!? How can I get back to normal?!? PLEASE don't tell me that these bad moods are going to stay around as long as I'm on the drug!
