Re: Nikkie and others ttcFrom: AmandaRee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 3 Aug 2001 19:52:02 -0500 (CDT)
Michelle, Thank you for your post. I wish you and your family lots of love and good health. I think it is very easy for us, as humans, to get caught up in the "grass is greener" frame of mind. We all have our own problems, some are shared by others, but we are all unique. What one would consider a burden another may consider a blessing. For example: My brother and his wife got pg when they were dating and now they can't stop having kids it seems, and though his kids are beautiful and wonderful, they are struggling to make it. My sister has two sons, with no trouble conceiving either time. However, both have had extensive medical problems and spent several of their first months in the nicu and in and out of operating rooms (the youngest is on a transplant list now, waiting for a lower-intestinal transplant). Then there's me: hoping and praying and dying for a child of my own. But along the same lines as what Char said, God is mindful of us and he won't give us more than we can handle (1 Corinthians 10:13, just a little religous side note). What I have loved about this site is that we are all women with our own problems trying to help others, while finding the love and support that we need from others who "understand." Love and Prayers for All,
-- AmandaRee--emails always welcome
