Sarah,

I to had struggled with PCOS and was prescribed the Pill to sort out the issues of very irreg cycles, well then I decided to do some research this on my own and came up on this website and others took all the info I got to my doc and he prescribed metformin, well that to me has been a miracle, if you read back on some of the posts you will read how many of us are taking metformin/glucophase, do a search for metformin on the forum it will bring up all posts relating to this, then when you have read print the info and take it to your doctor and force them to give it to you, it will help you with a lot of things and if your doctor wont give it to go to another one until they do, you will be imporessed with the results.

feel free to email me privately if you have any questions: persian_n@hotmail.com

regards Nikki
