PCO related?" Kari, I am sure that my thyroid problems started after the birth of my oldest dd. Before she was born I had great energy and was very thin. Wore size 5 and sometimes 7. I started to notice i was getting tired and gaining weight. Those are the only basic 2 symptoms I had that were different from anything else I had experienced prior to dd birth. I finally gave up asking why iwas tired. I was tired of being told i was just lazy and needed to eat better and exersise. then I changed docs when we moved nad got new insurance and he noticed my thyroid was enlarged and did the tests then.
