Hi,
Thought I'd add my 2¢ on nails. My nails look almost like wood---they
have a vertical grain to them--but they are certainly NOT strong as
wood. When I had my nails done a few months ago, the woman told me that
it was some sort of deficiency. I don't know if she was right or not,
but the problem has been evident since I transferred here---within a
year. My nails are soft, bendable and just weak. I've been
experimenting with nail hardeners and am happy with this Revlon stuff I
have (it's kinda purpleish--can't remember the exact name), but I found
it at a dollar store, so it may be discontinued. It's hard to remove
though--no matter what nail polish remover I try (I still have some
spots on my nails that have refused to come off), but it does it's job.
I don't know what's up with this "grain" I have going, but thought I'd
share my nail story with you all.
