I never thought of the relationship between the two but after reading your posting I got to thinking and I have had PCOS since about age 15 though just recently diagnosed but I had all the symptoms and was diagnosed with asthma around age 15 too. I take an inhalers, one being Advair. As the years have gone by my asthma has become increasingly worse just like the PCOS symptoms have. I plan on looking into it to see if there is a connection and will let you know. Best of luck! ======================================================== I wonder how many more of us out there are dealing with alergy / asthma? I have been reading the posts over the past few days and sarted thinking about my own problems reguarding this... I am on Allegra for alergies and an inhaler for when I excercise or get exerted (I usually end up with an asthma attack... Dr. calls it excercise / sport induced asthma)and it has been getting worse over the past year or so. I never thought there was a problem with inhalers and sugar levels (even my Dr. perscribes an extra inhaler for me instead of steroids when I get bronchitis(sp?)in the winter time because he said that steriods will make my sugar go up but the inhailers won't). Go figgure! I guess he has a lot to learn! -Christine U2Rox@aol.com
