I am 16 and going to the gynecologist tomorrow(July 26, 2001) to see if I have PCOS.... HELP! I have been having VERY irregular periods, I have severe acne (tried numerous treatments), I have all the weight I need to and have tried to (w/o results) lose (25-30lbs)... I have a nice body otherewise besides this spare tire! I have darker patches of skin, like 2 small, tiny tiny skin tags, I am irritable and shaky after eating, I have been diagnosed bi-polar (manic depressive Dec.99) Put on Zoloft (100mg a day), and Adderall to balance out the Zombie effect(walking around like i was a dead person, no personality) (10mgs a day)... I know deep down in my heart I have PCOS, and that I am insulin resistant.... I have this horrible feeling inside.... I feel worthless a lot, and I am sick of it..... Please support me, and help me through this women... I need you ALL.... I really do....
