Jessica- I know the feeling but I was taking provera and the same thing happen to me. Everytime my period was going to come on I knew it--the pains started 2 days before the bleeding actually did. Do you bleed excessively too after the brownish show? I go through almost 10 pads a day when I bleed for 4-5 days. my period lasts anywhere from 7-10 days if you count the brownish start. Sorry for being gross but how else can you explain it.
