Jessica, I experienced the same thing... although slightly different. Before I started the Desogen (and before I was officially diagnosed) I was constantly bleeding. I would have a period (although very light) that lasted 2 weeks, I would be free for a week and then it would start again for 2 weeks. That's part of what got me to the doctor to see what was going on. Anyway, one of the things my RE put me on was Desogen. That first period was the worst I've had in my life!!! It was extremely heavy - almost to the point I was afraid to even stand up (which was rather difficult since it was during my grandfather's funeral so I was constantly on my feet) and the cramps were sooo bad I just wanted to die!! I used to have cramps when I was younger but nothing like what I experienced then. It had me curled up in a ball whenever I had the chance. Most of the time though, I had to just grin and bear it - although sometimes I wasn't really walking upright LOL

But last month - my second period on Desogen - wasn't anywhere near that bad. It wasn't heavy and the cramps were bearable - just slight cramping here and there. It wasn't a constant pain.

I'm due any day now for my third one so I hope it's like the last one... My husband thought that maybe the first one was so bad because it was the first "regular" period I had had in.... oh, god knows how long.

Hopefully for you it's the same way. I wish you luck.
