Jessica, I don't know about everyone else...but my doctor (whom I LOVE) has perscribed several different kinds of tests. Lots of blood work, not just Testosterone and Thyroids, but a lot of other hormone levels (I would have to check on exactly which ones) and an Insulin level after 12 hours of fasting (Which sounds to be a very important test from everything I've read). My doctor has also scheduled a vaginal-probe ultrasound (regular ultrasounds do not show as much as the vaginal probe). Everything I've read say that the three basic tests for diagnosis are the blood work, ultrasound and family history (especially of diabetis and heart disease). If you feel uncertain...talk to you doctor about more tests. The important thing is that YOU feel comfortable with your diagnosis. Love to you! Amanda
