Howdy, I am soooo glad I found you guys!! I have responded tonight already to a few messages and just keep on reading new ones. I wish I had found this place a long time ago!!! I have been trying to get my pcos under control but its not going to well. I did change my regular doctor and got a referral to a new endocrinologist. BEST thing I ever did!!!! My regular doctor told me that women with pcos tend to go through menopause early. I have been showing alot of signs of this already. The biggest is the hot flashes. NO night sweats as of yet. I just had a bunch of hormone tests done but not sure if I had the right one done to see if I am having perimenopause. I would like to know how many of you have have been dealing with premenopause or have been through it. Also I am wondering if there are other side effects to pcos that would cause similar symptoms to menopause. I am 34 now and my doc said I would probably go through menopause in my early 40's. I also have thyroid disease which I also heard can cause early menopause. Monica
