Re: any of you ladies have this happen? From: Sunbeam (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 20 Jul 2001 22:00:14 -0500 (CDT)
Hi >From my experience with pg, I have had the "butterfly flutterings" at about 9 weeks, and was told that they are not normally experienced until around the 16-18 week gestation mark. The many doctors I saw during my "Problem" pg, said the kicking or movement of the baby felt like "butterfly flutterings" and described them to feel like "as if your just about to PASS WIND!", I also have these feelings now and my son is 3 years old now!! And I have been celibate for 3 years since his dad took off, so pg is certainly not a possibility!!!LOL I think the wind thing is most correct, but as mentioned in an earlier post - maybe you should get checked for parasites, just to be sure (not putting you down or speaking in a know-it-all tone or anything, just trying to be kind and of help, and if the latter is the case - better to get it checked out just to be sure and if there is a problem to get it fixed, esp. if you are ttc, don't want any other complications getting in the way...), but in my personal opinion I would be guessing it's just wind! Hope I've been of some help *big warm happy health and happy TTC thoughts for everybody* Jackie
