You've got to be treated... not only for the health risks but because it's no great party to live with all the other symptoms! I would go in there, tell him everything that's wrong, and say "FIX THIS!" :) Will maybe not so strong but you get the idea! Being on medication should really help with the weight loss. If (s)he tells you to just lose some weight, you walk out that door honey and don't go back. There are many endocrinologists out there.
