Okay, I got an appt to an endocrinologist. What is the most iportant thing for me to achieve at the first appt? I was diagnosed in 1992 but no Dr has ever treated me and I just found out that it is more than just cysts on the ovaries, I had NO idea about all this other stuff that can be related. I am 28, I have dark hair on my face, chin, stomach, I am 5'3" and weigh 220 lbs, most of it around my middle. I also have high blood pressure and my cholesterol level is sky high but I really try to watch it. I cannot lose weight, it is sooo hard. I haven't had a period since late last December. I average about one period a year. And that isn't much. So where do I start with the Dr, and what should I expect them to do?

Thanks, Debra
