I will try to develop a relationship with her so if I bring it up in the future she'll be more comfortable with me. I also like the idea of speaking to her parents, but I'll play that by ear. I don't have contact with the parents. I had also thought about casually reading Dr. Thatcher's book on a break. I could also casually take my metformin during a break. Props are helpful as icebreakers! I'd love to hear from anyone who has done something like this (approached someone you don't know well).
