take the bc pills. the best is demulen.....they do more for you than keep your cycles coming. it helps with acne, and in the long run it helps you not get i guess i should say - fight ovarian cancer for lack of better terms. as for facial hair, if it is that bad ask your dr for spironolactone. its a diuretic which helps with excessive hair. my recommendation is to wax and not use creams. i went as far as to buy a potpourie pot- electric and get wax from sallys beauty supply. when i am ready to use it i plug it in and wait for an hour or so and wax myself. i still go to a salon every now and then as i cannot see all of it....but it saves me money in the long run to do most of it myself. diagnosis is important. a gyn can do this or an endo dr. if you can afford it or have health care coverage for it i would go to an endo dr. sometimes i hear pcos ppl are often confused with cushings patients...? anyway, rule out everything else and get to the root of the problem. i have read in some natural healing books that eating meat and milk make it worse. the hormoes used in the animals are what is doing it to us....then i read some other things that i am not so sure about.....but at any rate when i increase my meat and milk intake i am in more pain and have more acne problems and facial hair...... also i have read about castor oil packs. havnet tried it yet but a lady on one of these lists emailed me and said it shrinks the cysts a great deal.....i dont know if it helps with the symptoms you address or not but hey - its worth a try huh? char
