The best type of bcps for pcos women is a constant dose bcps, not a tri-phasic one.

i was on ortho-cept, and I stayed on the hormones for 9 weeks, with a withdrawal at week 10. i liked it, with no major side effects. i've read somewhere that a female obgyn kept taking the pill for 5 years without a withdrawal bleed (there's also all this anecdotal evidence about women having too many periods nowadays, and not enough babies, yadayadayada - although it definitely makes sense).

hope this helps!
