Kristin,

It looks like you need to find different doctors to treat your PCOS after you give birth. Until that point you can help yourself with diet and exercise. A low carb diet works for many of us - where nothing has before.

Your OBGYN is right to watch you for gestational diabetes, but there is usually nothing that is done until you show the symptoms of it. While you are pregnant, the best thing you can do is educate yourself further so that you can take your PCOS in hand after the baby's born.
